Replacement Basket

When you get your poles (which are great and I am never going back to adjustable poles), before putting your baskets on, be sure to use a couple of electrical tape wrap turns over the threads to give the baskets more to grab onto. Without that, you will assuredly lose baskets. Also, probably best to order spare baskets anyway, as you don't want to be in the backcountry without them. This may have been a minor design flaw in the poles, but is easily fixed with electrical tape. I wish the company had been more responsive to my outreach regarding replacement baskets, but everybody has to make money, and the poles are great.

Well, here is the jist of it all. I got these super rad sticks and within the first month lost both of the baskets.

A review was written that the poles are great, but there was an issue with the baskets staying on. Folkrm contacted me and we were able to resolve the issue.

They also sent me a how to protect your baskets YouTube video. So now I’m trained on how to do that, properly.

But I really like these poles!

I lost one of my ski pole baskets and emailed folkrm about getting a replacement. I emailed at 9:30pm and had a response from CJ by 9:35 letting me know they would provide a replacement for me. It was in the mail within 2 days and I was back in business. What a great company and they know how important customers are! I have told all my friends about this company and their superb customer service! The ski poles are amazing too!!

Lost a basket on day one. Folkrm got new baskets out to me pronto and filled me in on a detail I missed in the first place. A wrap of electrical tape on the threads lock the baskets in!!
