Skiing in the Canadian Rockies develops a special kind of skier. You need to be comfortable in the cold and spend just as much time with skis on your feet as with crampons. I love to explore technical lines and long traverses, accessing rarely-visited terrain. As I continue towards my IFMGA guide certification, I have worked in various ways throughout the ski and snow industry, but I specialize in avalanche education. Being based out of Golden BC allows me to access world-class ski touring & ice climbing from my doorstep. I love spending time outside; whether that's skiing pow, rappelling into a bold line or swinging ice tools, I manage a way to have fun!
The Canadian Rockies are a unique snowpack and shouldn't be underestimated. If you are in the area and looking for a refresher on old skills, a technical skill update or taking an Avalanche Canada-accredited course, I would love you to contact me so we can hang out and tune our skills together!
