I’ve been through lots of poles over the years and was looking for the best of worlds in my newest set of poles. The Wonderland Pole has these key features that sold me:
1. Light weight but strong enough to not worry about breaking them. They feel solid on the steep ups and pogo’ing steep step-down-drops when ripping a downhill
2. Can accommodate a standard snow basket so they can easily transition to the winter season
3. Straps are super easy to adjust when I use different weight gloves.
4. The long padded grip helps when running or bushwhacking steep hills when being is the straps too restrictive
5. Easy to assemble and disassemble while on the move
6. The quiver is an improvement over my Salomon quiver with a wider opening, has reflective tabs and is included in the price of the poles.
I just leave them on my running vest just in case I find a new trail to explore and don’t even notice the weight. Sometimes I will use them to flip branches off the trail while hiking or running. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to replace your old poles like I did or just starting out on the pole journey.
Happy trails

The obsessive design and thought put into these poles is apparent from the moment you open the box. Light, strong, durable, functional and dare I say—gorgeous. Stoked.
Have been working great for me super light weight and sturdy. Folkrm delivered with these!
Really great. Light, grips are a perfect size to give variable length. Wrist strap is high quality. And the quiver is an awesome touch, sometimes even the dedicated pole straps on packs don't work well, and the light weight pouch is great to keep everything together and attached to the side of a pack, still within quick access but without the annoyance of them coming loose.
I have been running trekking poles for the last couple decades. I am believer in the efficiency one can get from using these tools over long days on the trail. What I appreciate about these poles is the comfortable and easy to adjust straps, pre installed to work with the under hand support (so many users get this wrong when not properly threaded before delivery), easy to use button to break down the poles even with cold digits and super lightweight carbon construction. The grips are cozy and have intuitive welts that for predictable movement as you slide your hand up and down the pole on uneven terrain. Bravo Folkrm! Welcome to the trail realm.
I received my Wonderlands the other day and have put them through the ringer already. I find that steep scree fields can be a carbon pole's worst enemy. The alpine climbs I used these for over the past week had approaches with a heinous amount of steep scree field navigation both up and down. The durability shined bright to say the least.
The weight and packability actually made me forget I had them with me in my backpack while I was climbing and descending back to the trail. These poles do no seem to compromise anything for how light they are. I could not recommend them enough. There is no question these will come with me on any non-ski trip I plan to undertake for work or recreation. For ski trips I use their other poles!
This pole is easy to use, lightweight, and durable. Dreams. I can't wait to continue to bring these into the mountains. The quiver being included is a great addition too. Plus, the color combo is really nice.
The light weight simple but study design of these is exactly what you want out there to rely on. I love the pole bag too, for quick conversion to scramble mode if you need to put them away. New favorite piece of speed hiking gear.
These are the best poles for glaciers and big days in the mountains for the NW! I love the swappable baskets and burly build. I am so stoked to have Folkrm year round!
I've been waiting for folkrm to conquer the trail running world for the longest time. Missing that feeling of a long EVA grip in my hands during the warmer months.
These poles are the answer to my prayers. They're burly, really light, so easy to deploy, and you can even repair them in the field. The included pole quiver is also super sick (price with the pole quiver is crazy good!!!)
Thank you Folkrm!!!
